Thursday was so beautiful in The Lord as we gathered to father with anticipation of which i spoke last post. I had organised some gorgeous fabric swathes, hemmed them and took them to the Meeting. Placing them in the centre of the room, we stood around in a circle and prayed over them, asking The Lord to show us what characteristic of His was represented by the fabric.
Each woman chose a piece of material and themes were Holy Spirit inspired. Red Chiffon became the Fire of God, the yellow was Joy, the silver was Purity, representing the Refiner’s effect on silver, reflecting holiness. The bronze chiffon became Grace, the yellow and gold is now the I Am, representing the fact that He is The Lord over this great Southland of the Spirit. Purple is His Majesty, His regality: all of these in themselves are just pieces of material, but to name and annoint them with oil is very significant and brings to the front of our minds the nature and characteristics of our God. He is HOLY.
Worship on Thursday was full of joy and abandon and grace and love and power! His annointing was released. Praise Him, praise His Holy Name!

On a glorious autumn day in Melbourne, some trusty prayer warriors made their way Albert St East Melbourne, home of the East Melbourne Synagogue, one of the oldest in Australia and the oldest in Victoria and the only continuously used Synagogue in Melbourne. Indeed the writer found the marriage details of her grandparents-inLaw’ wedding on 13/6/1900– a thrill indeed to see!
Our heart is for the Chosen people of The Lord to come to know Yeshua as their Lord and Saviour, to know the completeness of His love and mercy and the Good news of salvation through Him.
We were privileged to be shown through the Synagogue.
For the peace of Jerusalem pray!
Be aglow and burning with the Spirit to love and serve the Lord. Rom. 12:11 Amp.
As the days click over toward Christmas, we seem to get more and more hectic. Thankfully, there is help at hand— Jesus, the ‘reason for the season’, is ever present with us to provide that peace which passes all understanding and guards our heats and minds and spirits in Him.
The past year in Aglow Inner Melbourne has been a wonderful and busy year where we have been fed with the Word, encouraged in Him and we have relished the bonds of friendship that have grown stronger and stronger. Aglow is truly a newwork of caring women.
Our first meeting for 2011 will be at 10.00 am on 10th February at the Meeting Room, Kensington Community Recreation Centre, corner Altona Street and Kensington Road, Kensington.
blessings and love, Ruth, President Aglow Inner Melbourne
